Covid 19 has Exposed Nigerias Health Care System-Emir Of Bichi

The Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero says Covid-19 Pandemic has affected the socio economic and social services of the country.

The Emir stated this while receiving the participants of the senior course 43 of armed forces command and staff college Jaji on the study tour to Kano state in his palace at Bichi.

Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero said the Pandemic exposed the health system of the country and contributed alot in increasing unemployment and other social vices which includes Raping, robbery,kidnapping and banditry.

He said the Kano state government in its efforts to curtail the spread of the disease in the state has enforced three month lockdown, established Isolation centres and equiped them with adequate health facilities.

The Emir explained that there is need for government to take more safety measures, introducing the health insurance scheme to the Vulnerable people and create more job opportunities in the country.

The Emir pointed out that apart from his Emirate willingness to establish private University and solar village in the area plans is under way by the Emirate to construct un ultra modern guest palace and other developmental projects in Bichi.

He urged them to use the visit and come up with recommendations that will assist the government in tackling Pandemic cases considering that theme of their study tour as Pandemic and National security challenges.

Earlier, the leader of the delegations, Commodore S. A Akinwande said the tour is part of senior course activities to conduct a field research and recommendations for necessary actions.

He said they are in Kano to assess the efforts of Kano state government in tackling the covid-19 pandemic in the state.

He said this year’s study tour theme is “Pandemic and National security challenges particularly Covid-19.”

Commodore S. A Akinwande spoke at length on the significance of traditional rulers in the society and described them as a key to the success of any policies and programmes.

The occasion was rounded up with presentation of an award to the Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero.
