In Zamfara State, Emir of Kaura Namoda Emirate, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Asha urged well to do individuals to support orphans with a view to alleviating their sufferings and live like other children.
Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Asha made the call during a distribution of relief packages to needy at General Hospital Kaura Namoda provided by Center for supporting Vulnerable Households, Women and Children (CESVHOC).

During the distribution which marked the 2020 World Orphans Day, the Emir who emphasizes on need to support orphans said, they loss their bread winners hence supporting them can make them happy which according to him Allah will be pleased with.
On her part, founder of the NGO, CESVHOC, Mrs Farida Tigana explained that, orphans are in need of care to help them live a better life, saying wealthy members of the society have a responsibility to ensure orphans smiles.
On their separate remarks, Medical Directors of King Fahad Women and Children Hospital; Farida General Hospital Gusau; Dr. Bashir Isah and Dr. Surajo Abubakar as well as the Principal medical Officer, General Hospital Kaura Namoda, Dr. Surajo Liman express gratitude to the NGO for the gesture, saying most of the patients visiting government health facilities are needy.
