<p>Following the completion of sensitization to five Emirates as part of preparations heralding the 2021local governments elections, Kano State Independent electoral commission (KANSIEC) has now shift the sensitization to media for the attainment of the desired goals.</p>
<p>The chairman of the commission, Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka made this known while addressing stakeholders at a one day sensitization for local governments in Rano emirate that was held at the council Secretariat.</p>
<p>&#8221; After going round the five emirates, we will shift our attention to Media especially radio &; television for continuous mobilization to the public on the entire election process&#8221; added Sheka.</p>

<p>The chairman added that right now nomination forms are ready for potential contestants after submission of their names by their respective parties.</p>
<p>On behalf of chairmen of ten local governments in the emirate, the chairman of Rano local government, Alh Yau Abdullahi Gidan Zangi expressed confidence on the electoral body in it&#8217;s zeal of conducting free and fair election.</p>
<p>Gidan Zangi appreciated the state Governor for making it possible a transition from elected to another elected local administration.</p>
<p>Earlier, the commission&#8217;s management was at Rano emir&#8217;s palace for a support and blessing seeking visit.</p>
<p>In a statement by Dahiru Lawal Kofar Wambai the KANSIEC public relations officer said the Emir of Rank, Alh Muhammadu Kabiru Inuwa thanked for the visit and prayed for success in the next year&#8217;s exercise.</p>
