BUK honors Associate Prof. Hajara Sanda for outstanding performance

Bayero University Kano BUK has honoured Dr Hajara Umar-Sanda of the Faculty of Communications for her outstanding performance as Deputy Dean, Students Affairs for two terms.

The Vice Chancellor Professor Sageer Abbas  stated while presenting the award and letter of commendation to Dr Hajara Umar Sanda at a brief ceremony held at the Deanery of Student Affairs on Wednesday Solacebase and Daily News24  reports.

According to the letter signed by Anisatu Uwais Muhammad, Deputy Registrar and Secretary, Student Affairs on behalf of Dean, Student Affairs, said BUK found it necessary to honour the awardee for her commitment, dedication and hard work in moving the Student Affairs forward when she held sway as the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs.

Nigerian Tracker reports that Associate Professor Hajara Umar Sanda is the first female aspiring Professor of Mass Communications from Northern Nigeria.
