<p>The 2020 edition of the rek-nown annual Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship has been postponed.</p>
<p>The Tournament Director, Yusuf Datti on Thursday, in a chat with sports writers at Kano Club located along Muritala Mohammed way blamed the postponement on the health risks not unconnected to the outbreak of the dreaded Covid-19 disease.</p>
<p>He stressed that the postmen was necessitated by the attendant risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.</p>

<p>“be rest assured, we have no problem with our sponsors, after painstaking discussions and consultations, we decided to postponed the 34th edition of the tournament to 2021.</p>
<p>“the committee acknowledge that sporting competitions have resumed around the world , especially contact sports , however, the committee cannot ignore the attendant risk with this pandemic.</p>
<p>“we call on all stakeholders, especially our sponsors to understand and support our decision.</p>
