Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has congratulated his boss and former governor of Kano State Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as he clocks 64 years today.
Kwankwaso and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje were long time political allies spanning over 2 decades before they finally fell apart in March 2016 over Political differences.
Kwankwaso celebrates 64th birthday with launch of nomadic school in Kano
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was deputy governor of Kano State when Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso held sway as the governor of Kano State between 1999 and 2003 and between 2011 and 2015.
Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso anointed Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje prior to 2015 general elections to succeed him as Governor of Kano State.
But the two men fell apart in 2016 following a condolence visit by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso at Ganduje during the death of Governors mother which led Kano state government to accuse Engineer Kwankwaso of insurbordination.
As former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is celebrating his birthday today 21st October 2020 congratulatory messages appeared on the pages of Newspapers signed by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje wishing Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Happy birthday
