The protests holding in most Southern region of Nigeria against #ENDSARS# distinctly, shows how the leaders of this region are after and in support of their people regardless of whether they are on the right track or not.

If you could remember, most of the Southern Governors involved themselves in the protests and came out boldly to show their support for their people’s opinions.

But in the Northern region, the case and situation are different by what has happened recently in Kano State over the protest against insecurity bedeviling the region.

Hundreds of youths came out to protest in Kano State but unfortunately, a gang of thugs and hoodlums attacked them which caused a lot of youths to sustain severe injuries, among the affected folks include journalists and other prominent figures in the field of activism. The question here is who assigned those hoodlums to perpetrate such action?

End SARS Saga; Let’s Call a Spade a Spade

Conclusively, Kano State Government must be responsible for all the damages caused by those hoodlums because the attack was carried out in the presence of security personnel (policemen). Therefore without an iota of doubt, we can say the government is behind this negative action carried out.

On one hand, the activist should not relent in campaigning for social justice as well as better governance, on the other hand, they should also prepare intensively against any upcoming protest because the number of vibrant participants present determines the kind of reception from the opposers and suffocative.

Finally, I want to tell our leaders regardless of their offices or status we can not be threatened or intimidated by hoodlums

We are ever ready to sacrifice our today for the betterment of our dear region and younger ones and we won’t be intimated by hoodlums.

We stand firm to propel the status of the Northern region and Nigeria at large.

We cannot hesitate in telling you the truth no matter what the outcome might be.

We have the endurance, focus, and firm determination that the blissful moment will strike our doors as a result of our struggle.
