Police Arrests 62 Phone Snatchers ,recovers Indian hemp Valued at over 2 million

The Nigeria Police Force, Kano state command has recovered 68 Phones stolen by sixty two phone Snatchers across the state .

The Commands public relations officer DSP Abdullahi Haruna stated this while addressing Newsmen at the Commands Headquarters in Kano.

He said the successes recorded by the command were under operation Puff Adder.

He said the Command have also arrested 242 suspects that committed various crimes.

Among the suspects arrested by the command includes 24 Armed Robbers ,17 Kidnappers.

He said thos arrested were from the 9th of September 2020 to 15 October 2020.

He said the police also confiscated Indian hemp Valued at 2 million eight hundred and twenty thousand Naira.

The command have also advised the public to desist from renting their motorcycles as perpetrators of crime are using it for phone snatching and other criminal activities.

DSP Haruna further said the Kano state Police command have also arrested a suspect who stabbed a tricycle operator thinking he died.

But when the victim recovers, the police were able to succeed in arresting the criminal

According to the police when the Victims recovered they were able to arrest the suspects who stabbed him.
