Kano Screens 31,857 Pensioners

Kano State pensions Board has commenced the screening of over 31 thousand pensioners across the 44 local governments of the state.

The chairman Kano state Pension Board Trustees Alhaji Sani Dawaki Gabasawa made the statement while monitoring the screening exercise at Gezawa and Minjibir local governments of the state.

Alhaji Sani Gabasawa said he is delighted with the the way and manner the screening exercise is going on in the local governments.

In a statement by the Boards public relations officer Umar Abdu Kurmawa said commissioner one in the pensions Board Alhaji Mai Fada Bello Kibiya and Hajiya Hauwwau Tarauni , commissioner 2,said the reasons behind the Screening exercise was that families of deceased Pensioners refuses to inform the board on the passing away of their bread winners who are Pensioners noting that they are satisfied with the ongoing exercise.
