<p>-It&#8217;s a mistake to believe that every crime in Nigeria is the handiwork of &#8220;herdsmen&#8221;. All of a sudden, some Newspapers, Social media handlers, &; public affairs Commentators started using the concept of &#8220;herdsmen&#8221; as some bigots under the hallucinations of religious extremism, ethnocentric hatred &; political discord are using &#8220;herdsmen&#8221; as headlines &; captions of discussions.</p>

<p>-Have we forgotten that since 1970&#8217;s, there were Killers, kidnappers, Assassins, including Armed robbers of Banks, highways &; homes?. TODAY, how comes do we believe that all criminals have relocated to Ghana or repented &; that herdsmen are now the only criminals?.</p>

<p>-We are adding more to the existing troubles of Nigeria. This was exactly how we began creating opportunities for criminals, since 2009 when we began to conclude that all crimes are perpetrated only by the then &#8220;Boko Haram&#8221;, as such other existing criminals continue to enjoy their operations peacefully.</p>

<p>-That was how we kept witnessing hundreds cases of assassinations, bank robberies, political masterminded attacks all in the name of Boko Haram. We must wake up to understand that Nigerian problems are bigger than Nigeria, we created scenarios that we all know are fictitious. Instead of focusing on conclusion, assumptions, stereotypes and baseless generalization that every criminal is a &#8220;herdsman&#8221; including those arrested wearing herdsmen clothes to perpetrate all kinds of criminality.</p>
<p>-Crimes, deviance &; atrocities are never about one tribe or religion. Let&#8217;s not allow criminals to feel everyone will believe that &#8220;acclaimed herdsmen&#8221; are the only bosses in town. We should never be the enemies of Nigeria. If God wanted it, he would have created us from the same tribe, region and religion. Now that we are divers, let&#8217;s appreciate the beauty of our diversity.</p>
