The Editor- in -chief of judicialsketch.com, a Kano based online newspaper, barrister Yusuf Abdulsalaam has resigned.
Yusuf in a letter dated 18th of September said “Having been working as Editor-in-Chief of Judicial Sketch online publication since it was launched on November 22, 2019,
“I write to give you a week’s notice of my intention to step down from the position.This is in order to allow the next person in line to take over in the spirit of equal play, equal right and equal obligation.
“Take note that while I was EIC, Judicial Sketch published 1, 049 materials, got approval for Google AdSense and commanded a respectable followership on the internet as of the time I write this letter.
“The new EIC shall have to be firm, dedicated, focused and decisive in his role so as to sustain and improve on the achievements so far.
“I wish to assure the new EIC of my support at all times.” Yusuf stated.
As at the time of filling this report, a new editor in chief is yet to be apppointed.
