The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna State Council has called its members to actively participate in the forthcoming Nationwide Protest by Nigerian Labor congress to protest the hike in fuel and electricity tariff by the federal government.
In a statement by the Council Secretary, Comrade Femi John Adi, the council urged colleagues and council members to participate in the Protest scheduled to take place in Kaduna on Monday as arranged by Labor.
“Following the directive of the National body of the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC), Kaduna State Council in adherence calls on all Chapels of Union to mobilize members for a peaceful protest scheduled to take place on 28th September 2020.
“All Civil Servants, Civil Society Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and all stakeholders are expected to participate in the peaceful protest against the hike in electricity and petroleum pump price.
