The International Human Rights Commission Geneva, has appointed Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso a serving Commissioner for Rural Development in the Governor Ganduje administration, as their Director of Political Affairs Kano Office.
In a letter dated 23 Semptember 2020 and signed by the IHRC Coordinator Special Envoy of the Commission Ambassador Amadi Derlington. C. the Human Rights commission said they found Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso a deserving Person on the appointment.
“We found Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso highly deserving of the conferment of the exalted office as Director of Political affairs Kano office of the Commission”.
The letter read, “the nomination of Kwankwaso was necessited by your immeasurable contribution to the building of the Nigeria Nation”.
The added that, “Your trusted sense of Judgment and sincere critical stage on issues both locally Nationally and Internationally all which were in tandem with our Commission ideals enticed us towards given you this appointment”.
Ambassador Amadi urged Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso to continue with his political ideologies for a better Nigeria
