Bauchi Speaker Mourns Emir Of Zazzau ,Says Nigeria Has Lost A Symbol Of Unity

Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Chairman of Conference of Northeast Speakers  Abubakar Y Suleiman has joined millions of Nigerians to commiserate with the Zazzau Emirate Council, the people of Kaduna State and the country at large over the demise of His Royal Highness the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris today.

In a condolence message, the Speaker described the sudden demise of the monarch as shocking and painful.

According to him, the late Emir has spent his entire life in the service of the people of his domain, his State, Northern Nigeria and the country at large.

” His Royal Highness was one of the pillars of this part of the country who stood firm to ensure the interests of our Region are protected and our aspirations are met.

“The North has lost one of the laudable voices, respectful figure and symbol of unity.” He added.

Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman who hoped that his successor will toe to his line of peace building and unity of the North, says the imprints left by the late Emir will remain indelible.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
