An old Interview with former Governor of Lagos state and APC National leader Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu has gone viral on the cyberspace with the following Headline “I don’t believe in One Nigeria”

 

The old Newspaper page has gone awe on Nigeria’s Cyber Space in an Interview conducted with the politician by This Say Newspaper dated August 1997.

From the Newspaper clip, it seems the interview took place during the height of General Sani Abacha’s regime when politicians like Bola Ahmad Tinubu went on exile due to the fear of the unknown during the height of Abacha regime when he clamped down on politicians opposing his regime.

 

The old Interview with the famous politician may not be unconnected with his perceived 2023 presidential ambition and his effort to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari when the President’s tenure expires in the year 2023 less than three years from now.

Some people on social media who spread the old newspaper page depicting Senator Tinubu saying he did not believe in one Nigeria, bashed the former Lagos state governor saying since he is now eying topmost Nigeria’s seat and now he will believe in one Nigeria.

As Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s ambition is gathering momentum by the day, a lot of people including critics are bringing Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s past in order to outsmart him as he prepares for the 2023 general elections.

 

Some of Atiku Abubakar’s supporters were also seen spreading the old newspaper page in order to sell their candidate.

 

For Nigerian President to emerge in the presidential system of government the whole country is his constituency.

If Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu contests for the Presidency he must secure the support of all parts of Nigeria apart from his stronghold, the South Western part of Nigeria where he is expected to win a landslide victory.
