New Islamic year: Emir of Rano urges Muslim to repent

The Emir of Rano, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa, has called on Muslims to repent as a measure of becoming nearer to Allah in the New Islamic Year of 1442.

 

Speaking to the people of his Emirate on the new Islamic year at his palace in Rano, the Emir said the wisdom behind celebrating the new year is to enable the Muslim Umma to double their good deeds as well as to repent and discard their bad ways as thousands of Muslims were not opportune to witness the new year.

Emir of Kano approves Jumaat Mosque for NASFAT.

The Emir also used the opportunity to commend the governor of Kano state Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for presiding over the recent commissioning of the oldest Friday Mosque in the emirate as well as the provision of face masks to the emirate in addition to those purchased by the emirate council to curtail the spread of CoronaVirus in the emirate.
