The office of the Assistant Inspector of Police in charge of Kano Zone has invited Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Mustapha Bakwana, for questioning over alleged brandishing of pistol and ordering his supporters to kill his perceived enemies.

The committee, headed by a former speaker of the state House of Assembly, Kabiru Rurum, met last week at Kumbotso local Government area of the state.

Following a bloody clash with some youths and Mr Bakwana’s political thugs after the meeting, Police were petitioned.

However, in an interview with Freedom Radio, Mr Bakwana dismissed the video clip, saying that the video was cloned by his enemies who are envious of his political progress

When contacted, the spokesman for the Zone 1, Rabilu Ringim, confirmed that the embattled adviser was at the Kano police headquarters being quizzed over the allegations.

According to Mr Rabilu, the allegations include displaying pistol and using thugs with dangerous weapon to disturb the peace and attack people.
