Daily Focus, one of the pioneer online news platforms based in Kano state North-Western Nigeria has announced disengagement from a merger it entered into with Kano Today, another online Newspaper in Kano.
The Chief Executive officer and publisher of the online Platform Nazifi Dawud Stated this in a statement sent to Nigerian Tracker.
Dawud Nazifi said ‘’It may be recalled that on Wednesday, September 12, 2019, I as the Publisher and CEO of Daily Focus Online Newspaper, representing my company and Maude Rabiu Gwadabe, representing KANO TODAY, issued a joint statement announcing the merger/partnership of the two online news platforms to be known as “KANO FOCUS’’ He said.

Dawud Nazifi said Even though there are issues with regards to certain aspects of the collapsed partnership that are still being considered behind the scene, said he is pleased to announce that DAILY FOCUS has WITHDRAWN from the merger/partnership with KANO TODAY.
Dawud added that In view of this, he has fully reverted to his original platform DAILY FOCUS (www.dailyfocus.ng) and urged all his followers, customers, and the general public to take note.
Dawud also seized the opportunity to declare that DAILY FOCUS along with its trademark, logo, slogan, and mission statement, has fully resumed operations.
