World soccer governing body (FIFA) has announced July 31st, 2020 as the date for the release of the first part of the COVID 19 Relief Fund, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

FIFA a few weeks announced that each federation will earn $500,000 as a relief fund for the rampaging COVID 19 which has affected football globally.
Without the cash, some Africa countries had made an arrangement on how the money will be distributed at all levels of football in the country.
FIFA further confirmed that the second part of the relief fund will be released on January 31, 2021.

The executive’s member of the body will have it’s meeting on Monday to determine ways the money will disburse to federations across the world.
