Despite reaching agreement with the organised Labour Kano State Government has again slashed workers Salary for the month of June.
Some civil servants who spoke to Nigerian Tracker on condition of anonymity said their salaries for the month of June has been slashed.
One of the Civil servants told Nigerian Tracker that in the month of May as a grade level officer 10 step 3 the government slashed 9,600 Naira from his salary.
” We were relaxed as we await June salary ,to my surprise 7,600 Naira was again slashed from my salary.
Another civil servant who works with Kano state Universal Education Board told our correspondent that the 3000 Naira increment they have as minimum wage was trimmed in the month of May and June respectively.
It was learnt by Nigerian Tracker that Primary school Teachers only had the increment of 3000 Naira when Kano state Government implemented the new National minimum wage.
When contacted Kano NLC chairman comrade Kabiru Ado Minjibir his phone was switched off and is yet to reply the text message sent to him by the Nigerian Tracker.
Recently ,NLC Kano state chapter has threatened to embark on seven day warning strike over the slash of May salary.
But few days ago it shelved the idea ,noting that it has reached an agreement with Kano state Government.
