Kano mysterious deaths triggered by COVID 19

The Minster of Health Dr Osagie Ehanire said the ministerial task team report on the mysterious deaths recorded in Kano state in April and early May which totals 979.
He said that between 50-60 percent of the deaths may have been triggered by or due to Covid 19.

Dr Osagie Ehanire stated this during briefing by presidential task force on Covid-19.
Dr Ehanire added that federal intervention has helped many states in northern Nigeria from infecting their health workers.
During the introduction of the lock down in Kano, the state government falsified the reports over mass death in Kano reported by journalists in Kano.
