The Many Sins of Emir Sunusi II.
The former Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sunusi II has fulfilled his long life ambition of inheriting the throne of his forefathers.
But the former Emir whose life is in tune with reality has trespassed the boundaries of many people in the conservative north whether he was aware or not.
In a traditional stool like that of Kano ,there are a lot of people who want Excel in life or the career’s they are pursuing ,but Malam Muhammad Sunusi II is also endowed with knowledge in those areas.
For example the Nigerian Tracker has since understood that on ascension to the throne of his forefathers, many people were not used to Emirs delivering sermon to their subjects except during the time of Muhammad Sunusi I ,the grandfather of Emir Sunusi II,many Islamic scholars may not be happy with that.
On his area of specialization that is economics ,the former monarch has displayed versatility to a point whereby professors of economics in Kano and Nigeria were overshadowed by him.
The deposed Emir also had an axe to grind with present generation of politicians who are not happy with him on how he criticize them on many policies he felt are not in tandem with present economic realities.
The Nigerian Tracker also observed that if they allow Emir Muhammad Sunusi II to be on the throne for quite a long time the monarch will erode their relevance influence and hegemony
