As Muslims mark Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the chairman of the Kano state branch of the Nigeria union of journalists comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi has conveyed his felicitations to all Muslims community.
In a statement signed by the council’s Secretary comrade Abubakar Shehu Kwaru congratulated Muslims particularly members of fourth estate of the realm for witnessing the birthday celebrations of the holy prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Dederi described Eid Malud as a time of love, a reflection of our good teachings, as well as remembrance of the seal of all Prophets, an embodiment of complete humanity. therefore, urged all Muslims to love one another regardless of religion and not to neglect the poor, by following the exemplary character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The chairman further expressed that Eidul Malud is great and memorable for everyone around us and do precisely what our noble Prophet instructs us to do in alignment with his teachings and the Holy Quran.
According to the statement the Kano council of NUJ will not Left any Stone unturned towards improving the lots of it’s members and maintaining professionalism.
