A legal practitioner, Alhaji Ibrahim, “ Justice Castle “ have asked Nigeria’s Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC to produce the outcome of its findings into allegations of corruptions levied against past and serving members of the top echelon of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF

The legal practitioner in a letter dated 15th July, 2024, the acknowledged copy of the missive sent to the commission by the legal practitioner, made available to this reporter, said the request has originated in furtherance to the petition filed before the commission by one Tunde Aderibigbe.

The petitioner in 2019 had informed the anti graft agency about the suspected shady activities that were allegedly committed by some executive members of the federation and the incumbent chief executive officer of the federation.

Noting that the commission had swiftly indulged into thorough investigations of the allegations levied by the petitioner.

The missive said “ despite the completion and the indictment that arose therefrom, your office has neglected to take the matter forward.

“we have been briefed to request to know why the ICPC has refused to prosecute those found wanting in the investigation.”

“in the event, your investigation did not find them wanting, we request that your good office provide our client explanations as to their exoneration.” An impeccable source told this reporter that, recently, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF in a banal appearance before an oversight committee at the national assembly had informed the committee that, ICPC has absolved the federation from any contravention of the extant laws that regulates financial matters in Nigeria.
