<p>A member of the House of representatives and a close confidant of the vice president Honourable Hafizu Kawu stated this to journalists in Kano.</p>
<p>A national daily (Not NIGERIAN TRACKER)was awash with the news on Monday morning that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has notified President Buhari on his plan to contest the 2023 presidential election.</p>

<p>Hafizu Kawu said Nigerians and supporters of Professor Yemi Osinbajo should exercise patience on the declaration of professor Yemi Osinbajo to contest the nations number one seat .</p>
<p>The lawmaker debunked the report which goes viral on Monday noting that President Muhammad Buhari is not even in Nigeria let alone be notified by Professor Yemi Osinbajo on the 2023 presidential contest.</p>
<p>Hafizu Kawu added that the vice president is presently committed to serving the country through president Muhammad Buhari by being committed to his job.</p>
