<p>In a letter dated 22nd December 2020 and signed by Laliga&#8217;s Director for Marketing and International Development, Oscar Mayo Pardo to Kano State Football Association, the Spanish organizing league body reaffirmed its commitments in creating new events for the millions of Laliga fans in Kano.</p>

<p>It will be recalled that Laliga had a mini fans event in Kano on the 13th of September, 2020 where fans gathered to watch Huesca vs Villarreal match to usher in the 2020/2021 Laliga campaign.</p>

<p>The match involved two Nigerians, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze for SD Huesca and Villarreal CF respectively.</p>
