The 31st of October 2020 was supposed to be a day of celebrating my birthday but instead life dealt me with the most shocking tragedy yet of my life.
The death of two (2) of my younger brothers Usman (30) and Abdulkadeer Bappa (27) and the third, Muhammad Al’Amin (30) my live-in cousin who is intrinsically part of the nuclear family. A shock I’m still grappling to come to terms with.
Al’Amin was a father of a 30days old baby boy. He lectures at Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil – Kano State. He also doubles as the departmental exam officer.
Usman Nasruddeen (fondly called Ussy or Usmanovic)works with NESREA in their Kano office holds a master’s degree in Chemistry. He is soft spoken and very intellectual.
Abdulkadeer (Bappa) is my personal person ❤. My loyalist 💪🏼 and biggest fan. He too holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management from ABU Zaria. He manages his farm and is a contract Management consultant in Kano and Gombe States.
It is sad to really describe these God sent as life took them when they are at their prime through a road accident on their way from Gombe to Kano.
All the three of them have NEVER disobeyed me nor anyone who ever had an interaction with them. They are honest and hardworking as well as jovial and respectful.
But through these most painful times, Allah the Almighty showed me the immense blessings of your support. Family, Relatives, Friends, Colleagues, Associates, Allies, Partners, Neighbours, Townspeople, Classmates, Clergy, Seniors, Well wishers, Sympathisers etc.
Although, these very beloved people are gone forever from my life and this world and I feel an immense pain, however with your display of affection and support you have made my heart rejoice. I am grateful to ALL of you for your special messages that have helped me find peace and tranquility that I needed to stabilise.
Your presence, prayers, support, condolences, calls, contributions, care, words, wisdoms and sacrifices all have been registered and only Allah the Almighty can reward you.
As we continue to pray for the souls of Al’Amin, Usman and Abdulkadeer to rest in perfect peace, I join all the departed souls of our dearly beloved who have gone to the great beyond.
I take this moment also to thank YOU in particular and pray for YOU and your family to have a long life, good health, strong faith and happiness all days of your life.
